Chocolate brownie


  • 200g butter
  • 125g or more chocolate
  • ½ cocoa
  • 1 cup brown, 1 cup caster
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • salt
  • Walnuts (optional)


  1. Melt butter, chocolate and cocoa over slow heat. Do not boil.
  2. Cool.
  3. Add sugar, then eggs one at a time, then flour, beat well.
  4. Cook in greased 30 by 20 cm tin at 190 degrees celcius for 25min.
  5. Remove from oven, be careful not to overcook.
